“The City of Ember” by Jeanne DuPrau

21 Jul

FROM A KINNELON LIBRARY TEEN REVIEWER:

I loved "The City of Ember." Since the book was eventful and interesting, I wanted to continue reading. The book is about an underground city and the people that live in it. Even if you do not care for science fiction, I would still recommend this book.

I'd also recommend the sequel, "The People of Sparks."

    Next in the series….

The next book in this series is The Prophet of Yonwood, which the Library owns.

Thanks so much for sharing that information with us. I haven’t read “The Prophet of Yonwood” but it looks like it takes place about 50 years before the events in these two books. If you read it, can you let us know if you liked it?
