“Sorceress” by Celia Rees

SUMMER READING REVIEW!

FROM A KINNELON LIBRARY TEEN REVIEWER:

I liked this book because there are very good descriptions and Rees does a good job of keeping you on the edge of your seat. I would recommend this book to teens who like fiction and a little bit of suspense.

TEEN LIBRARIAN'S NOTE:

"Sorceress" is the sequel to Rees' "Witch Child," which one of our teen readers deemed "not very exciting." Both books tell the story of Mary Newbury, who was sent away from her Puritan community in the 1600s because she was suspected of practicing witchcraft.
